We enjoyed an Audubon Bird Steward presentation followed by a bird photo safari to Lea Island. Members learned more about the Audubon Bird Steward Program and the different birds commonly found around the island before heading out to explore and photograph them. The trip turned into a fun, mildly competitive photo safari, with individuals and teams working to capture images of the widest variety of birds. It was a great mix of boating, learning, wildlife, and friendly competition, all set against the natural beauty of Lea Island.
